ADA, Okla. – The East Central University campus was active this summer with more than two dozen camps, clinics and internships held across various campus facilities for the benefit of children and college age students alike.

ECU-sponsored events included:

  • Human Water Cycle STEM Academy
  • I-Dream Curriculum Development Internship
  • ECU Tiger Cub Basketball Camp
  • 15 ECU Women's Basketball Elite Camp
  • ECU Cheer Squad Camp
  • ECU Men's Basketball Day Camp
  • ECU Men's Basketball Father/Son Camp
  • The first-ever ECU Esports Camp
  • ECU Football Camp
  • ECU Marching Band Camp
  • President’s Leadership Class Summer Retreat
  • and more.

In addition to ECU-hosted programs, the campus also welcomed outside organizations such as Ada Center-Stage, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Chickasaw Nation. The Chickasaw Nation hosted a series of athletic camps before wrapping up their summer at ECU with the prestigious Chickasaw Arts Academy.

As summer winds down, ECU shifts focus to the upcoming fall semester as Tigers return to campus and prepare for classes beginning Monday, Aug. 18, 2025.
